In our after school clubs we spark imaginative learning after class is out! Mad Science has created a vast library of unique after school programs. Our spectacular demonstrations, hands-on activities, and real world discussions make learning about science fun for kids! Interactive, one-hour after school science programs are themed around particular areas of science and include such topics as rocketry, magnets, polymers, and even the science of toys. In each class, children build their very own model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science slime, and more. Children get to take home their science experiment to show Mom and Dad!

Our in class field trips enhance your classroom science experience with workshops that are aligned to NC Essential Standard objectives! This is a convenient way to offer students a hands-on and fun science experience. These workshops offer professional lesson plans, unique equipment, and dynamic instructors.
Mad Science special events are awesome science-themed shows and discovery stations designed to amaze and entertain audiences. Children learn about science when they see foggy dry ice storms, float on a Mad Science hovercraft, watch a foam factory at work, discover Bernoulli’s principle, make magic mud, alter sound waves, and so much more! Our events are ideal for school assemblies, corporate events, and community centers. From scouting banquets to library programs and corporate picnics, Mad Science is a unique way to entertain an audience!
Mad Science also brings the wonders of science to preschoolers. Our fun science experiments are engaging, interactive, and a hands-on exploration of specific science topics. From air, our animal friends and butterflies, to water, weather and worms, our preschool science programs are designed to engage the curious nature of young children. Preschoolers enjoy captivating demonstrations, perform simple science experiments and discover how science can help us to better understand the world around us.

"Everyone loved my son’s 4th birthday party! It made it easy and fun and it was great to have it at our own house, but not have to be in charge of the entertainment. The scientist arrived on time, set up (and cleaned up) quickly, was great with the kids, kept them engaged and planned really cool experiments. All of the adults were impressed and I had several friends ask me “how did you find her??”. As a teacher, I loved how she managed the children and knew their attention spans. The best part was they learned so much while they were having fun! Literally could not have been a better experience and my son absolutely loved every second of his party. Highly recommend!"
"I signed my daughter up for Mad Science Camp (after school sessions) on a whim. One of the best spontaneous decisions I've ever made! She absolutely loved the camp and was so sad that yesterday was her last day. It was very affordable, and she had a blast. Best of all, the classes are obviously very well-taught, because she was able to come home and share with me in detail all of the things she learned. They also get a little science "toy" to take home from each class to continue learning at home. I am hopeful they will have another camp in the new year with another round of new fun things to learn.
