One of my favorite things to do is enjoy a great burger with my children. Though my husband is vegan, I love the opportunity to indulge in a delicious burger and fries combo. It's such a treat. Since moving from the west coast, I've found several great burger places that have delicious burgers in the Apex, Cary, and Morrisville area.
- Town Hall Burger and Beer, Holly Springs - Try one of their signature burgers, or build your own where you can pick the type of bun, burger meat (lamb or spinach quinoa anyone?), and add on all the fixings your stomach desires! Bonus side: sweet potato fries.
- Hickory Tavern, Cary, Morrisville, and Holly Springs - Gourmet burgers at their best! Go for a little spice and order the Diablo Burger, or get the cheesy classic ‘Merica’s Burger. Bonus side: tavern chips.
- BURGERFI, Cary - You cannot go wrong with their cheeseburgers (single or double) topped with lettuce, tomato, and Burgerfi sauce. Try it wrapped in a lettuce bun and make sure to order one of their decadent milkshakes to go with. Bonus side: fresh fries topped with garlic aioli.
