When did you first start baking?: I first started baking at the age of 18 and fell in love with the satisfaction that I got whenever I made a recipe correctly and was able to provide my family and friends with yummy treats!
When did you decide to start a business and why: I started my business when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter, Chloe. I loved the idea of making cakes and being able to watch her at the same time.
Tell us about your business: I take pride in my clean and detailed orientated work. I specialize in all special occasions ranging from weddings to baby showers to birthday cakes. I can make cakes, cupcakes and cookies!
What do you love about your work: I love the feeling I get when a customer sees their cake for the first time and has a huge smile! It's an amazing feeling being able to create people's ideas!
What ingredients do you use: I can tailor my ingredients to the clients' needs! I offer gluten-free and non- gluten baking options. When in season, I like to use local farmers for ingredients!
Any tips for other moms thinking about starting a business?: Go for it! You won’t ever know if you can do something unless you try!
Favorite place to take your children around town: I love to take my girls to different parks and search for “dinosaurs” with them! They love to go to The Mill for a hot chocolate with mommy!
